Description

Swept Hilt Rapier; globular pommel; wire-bound grip; pommel, lobed quillon terminal and knuckle-guard loop encrusted with silver in black ground; the two inner loops being plain except for lobed projecting terminal; tapering blade with deep groove between two pierced grooves at hilt end over an engraved motif. England.
