Rosemary Watt
Senior Curator of Industry and Design
Rosemary is Senior Curator for the Museum of Transport. She has a broad range of responsibilities including craft and design, decorative arts including jewellery, silver and precious metals, domestic and office technology, ophthalmic and communications technology and disability transport. She is closely involved with the Riverside Museum project and supervises the transport and technology curators.
Rosemary joined Glasgow Museums as a specialist in decorative arts and has held a number of posts within the organisation including Keeper of the Burrell Collection and Curator of European Art and Design. She retains an active interest in the design and production of base and precious metals and in contemporary craft and product development.
