Curator of World Cultures
Patricia Allan has been working for Glasgow Museums since 1998, and has been curator of World Cultures since 2002. She has worked on archaeological sites as an ethnobotanist throughout the world for many years, principally on the Southern Coast of Ecuador where she was field director and environmentalist for a multinational, multidisciplinary research project and museum. She continues this work with her close involvement in the museums in Ecuador.
Patricia graduated with an Honours degree in Biology from Aberdeen and a Postgraduate Masters degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from Sheffield and later a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Sheffield.
