Description

These woodlice are possible type specimens for the species Trichoniscus stebbingi. This species was named by Alexander Patience who also donated this and many other crustacean specimens to Glasgow Museums.

These three tiny specimens are glued to a piece of white glass and then preserved in spirit in a small test tube.
