Description

Original No 1 motor car chassis built by Albion Motor Car Co believed to be the first car completely built in Glasgow.

The Albion car company built everything from engine to chassis to body themselves in their premises in Glasgow. This is the original motor car chassis which took pride of place in Kelvingrove Museum in 1908 housed, as it was, in a glass case.
