Description

Alexandra, Princess of Wales (1844-1925), later Queen Alexandra, was the eldest daughter of Christian IX of Denmark. She married the Prince of Wales in 1863. Together they had three sons and three daughters: Albert Victor (1864-1892), Duke of Clarence; George (1865-1936), King George V; Louise (1867-1931), Princess Royal; Victoria (1868-1935); Maud (1869-1938), married Haakon VII of Norway; and Alexander (born and died 1871). Signed, 'EWING FECIT LONDON 1869'.
