Description

This painting by Raffaellino del Garbo depicts the Virgin, here in a red dress and blue mantle with golden nimbus above, holding the Holy Child who in turn is seen embracing St. John, who kneels before Him.

On the right, is an angel with long curling hair and chaplet of red and white roses. On the left, another angel, in his right hand an open book of music. Behind is a landscape with rocks and trees, and in middle distance, buildings with tower.
