Swept hilt rapier, hilt of blued steel, decorated with gold and silver azziaminia, the blade inscribed in the groove on one side, 'IN TE DOMINE' and on the other 'SPERAVI'. Cutler's mark on the recasso three times, crescent moon mark. From the Martinez family of Toledo. Milanese, 16th century.
