Iznik ceramic dish decorated in blue, black, green and red on a white background with a floral spray that grows out of a centrally placed bush, and consists of a long leafed stem of blue hyacinths, four stems baring blue tulips, two red carnations and three red hyacinths. One of the carnations’ stems is broken and twisted rendering the carnation facing downwards towards the base bush it emerged from. The rim’s design is rendered in very dark blue with black on a white background, and displays the wave-and-rock motif of Chinese influence.
