Glasgow Museums has a collection of tearoom tableware and ephemera that relate to Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style. These items date from between 1885 and 1934. This collection comprises a number of items from the tearooms of Miss Catherine Cranston and those run by her older brother, tea dealer Stuart Cranston. Though small, the collection is exceptionally diverse in content, the largest aspect of which is tableware specially made for Miss Cranston’s tearooms, including items of Willow Pattern crockery, a teapot, and a variety of silver-plated nickel cutlery. Additional individual items of ephemera include branded merchandise, printed menu cards, a design for a menu card, and a share certificate.
