Glasgow Museums has a collection of 22 vehicles dating from between 1919 and 1939 and over 200 related objects which date from 1919 to 1997. The collection contains some superb representations of Scottish car manufacturing in the interwar years, including an Arrol-Johnston car and one Galloway; an Argyll; two Beardmores and an Anderson Special racing car. The remainder of the collection is mixed and offers examples of the makes of cars that were commonly seen on the streets of Glasgow, for example several Austins, Morrises, a Humber, a Vauxhall, a Standard and a Sunbeam Talbot. At the more luxurious end of the market there is a Rolls Royce, a Bentley, a MG TA and a Lagonda. There is also a Stanley Steam Car and a Model `T’ Ford plus various photographs, catalogues, badges, awards and parts associated with these vehicles.
