Glasgow Museums has a collection of items used by employees of bus companies from Glasgow Corporation Transport and private companies operating services in and around Glasgow. The main focus in on employee material from the service operated by Glasgow Corporation but there ae examples from private firms, like Western Scottish Motor Traction (WSMT) and Scottish Motor Traction (S.MT), that served as intercity transport. Uniform items such as badges, drivers’ tokens, caps and jackets. There are also two ticket machines. The collection dates from the 1920s-1970s.
