A collection of mass-produced railway wagons and carriages models. Many are from the firms of Triang or Hornby. Many railway companies are represented, from Scottish railways, examples from the ‘Big Four’ privatised companies of 1922-1948 and examples from British Railways. They include passenger carriages, goods wagons, chemical/oil wagons and coal wagons. Many of these models came as part of a layout of Carlisle Citadel Station and so represent railway companies active at this location.
