Glasgow Museums has a collection of material related to the employees of the Glasgow subway from its time as being operated by Glasgow Corporation and Strathclyde Partnership for Transport. The collection is formed mainly of employee uniform items, such as caps, shirts, jackets and trousers. Also included are employee badges and uniform equipment. Dates for the collection cover 1920-2000. There is an overlap of some material with items from the Station master office collection from the Merkland Street subway station.
