Glasgow Museums has a collection of promotional items produced by the Glasgow Corporation for its tram services. The collection consists of timetables, maps and customers notices covering the entire tram system. Included in the maps are several special editions made for the exhibitions held in Glasgow in 1901 and 1938. In addition, there are some items from other tram systems that once existed as stand-alone services (such as Paisley) that were at one time combined with Glasgow tramways. The dates for the collection are 1872-1962 which matches the time period when trams were used in the city.
