Glasgow Museums has a collection of over 60 objects relating to ambulancebadges and awards dating from 1882 to the mid-twentieth century. This area of the collection includes badges, certificates, awards, handbooks and membership cards from a variety of organisations. St George, St John’s and St Andrews Ambulance Associations, The Red Cross and The Boy’s Brigade are some of them as well as the Corporation of Glasgow Tramways and the railway companies, Caledonian Railways, London Midland & Scottish Railways and London & North Eastern Railway
