Glasgow Museums has a collection of over 250 objects of promotional and associated object dating from the 20th century. From the first established commercial service promotional material has been necessary. Important milestones are celebrated in postage stamps, postcards, cigarettes cards, prints and posters. There are examples of crockery and cutlery and engineering diagrams of Rolls Royce engines in this collection. There is a lot of material relating to the Scottish Air Ambulance Service and a collection of material directly relating to Scottish Airways.
