The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons)

Comments

Glasgow Museums has a collection of five objects associated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (Mormons). The collection holds four copies of the Book of Mormon and one programme of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir from 1955. Mormons believe that in the early nineteenth century the angel Moroni revealed the Book of Mormon to Joseph Smith who translated it into English. Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are expected to devote time to missionary work.
