Light Goods Vehicles

Comments

Glasgow Museums has a collection of six light goods vehicles and over 50 related objects which date from 1931 to 1998. Four of these vehicles, an Austin, Morris, Albion and Bedford, were used to sell and deliver goods. Another, an electrically powered, Smith’s Elizabethan was used to deliver milk by Wiseman Dairies, while a Daihatsu van was acquired specifically for a Glasgow Museums Asian art project. The related material includes catalogues, trophies, brochures and medals.
