Glasgow Museums has a collection of three horse-drawn fire engines: a Shand-Mason, and a Merryweather (known as "Greenwich Gem"), both of which are steam fire engines pulled by horses, and a Herkless of Glasgow manual fire engine pulled by a single horse, or it could be pulled by hand.
