Glasgow Museums has a collection of 37 models of horse-drawn vehicles. They are made by individuals, or companies such as Lesney Products & Co. Ltd. which was an industrial die-casting company, and organizations such as Glasgow Fire Brigade whose model (LT.1975.23.1) is the oldest in the collection, and was awarded a bronze medal at the Glasgow Exhibition of 1890-91. Models represent horse-drawn vehicles such as: a Royal Mail carriage, 2 caravans, a steam engine, a bus, a phaeton, and numerous wagons and carts. A number of models include driver and/or horse(s).
