Glasgow Museums has a collection of Japanese Chiyogami papers. This includes 94 sheets. Chiyogami is a type of Japanese paper decorated with brightly coloured, woodblock-printed patterns, first created in the late 18th century. These later found their way to Europe where they became extremely popular and influenced European artists and culture.
