Glasgow Museums has a collection of approximately 14 objects representing three First Ministers of the Scottish Parliament after its reestablishment in 1999. These are 11 objects representing Donald Dewar, who was First Minister from 1999 to 2000, 2 objects for Alex Salmond, who was First Minister from 2007 to 2014 and 1 for Nicola Sturgeon, who has served as First Minister from 2014 to present. The collection generally categorised as social history and archive and includes archives, photographs, slides, leaflets and a sculpture of Donald Dewar.
