Glasgow Museums has a collection of approximately 17 objects representing the noble title Baronet, of which 13 are Scottish ( Balfour, Lipton, Maxwell, Sir Iain Moncreiffe of that Ilk, Mongtomery of Skelmuirly, Scott, Stevenson, Sir John Stewart, 4th Baronet of Murthly, Stirling Maxwell). There are further 3 objects for English Baronets. The collection generally categorised history, art, decorative art and archive. The range of objects representing Scottish Baronets varies from dedications, presentations of property, print portraits, archives, books, panels and photographs showing the nobles in person and politically powerful. Most of the collection dates from the 18th and 20th centuries.
