Description

Jane Flint is one of Glasgow Museums’ Curators of Archaeology, and is responsible for the prehistoric collections from the British Isles and North-West Europe dating to the Palaeolithic, Mesolithic, Neolithic, Chalcolithic, Bronze Age, and Iron Age periods.

Jane holds an MA (Hons) in Archaeology from the University of Glasgow, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Studies from the University of Leicester. She is an Associate of the Museums Association, and a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland. Jane has previously worked in the Collections Unit at Historic Scotland, for East Ayrshire Council Museums Service, and at Dunaskin Open-Air Industrial Museum in East Ayrshire.

Her main research interests are in the material culture of the Chalcolithic and Bronze Age periods, particularly the Late Bronze Age.
