Description

Colour print entitled 'Kenmure Street May 2021' by Craig Smillie. From original watercolour. It captures an historic display of community spirit and non-violent collective civic defiance, as protesters, many of them local to the neighbourhood and new to protest, blocked an Immigration Enforcement van, detaining two local residents who had been living in Scotland for ten years. The protest was successful and the residents were released. The prints were made to sell to support refugees in a similar plight.
