Full-length bronze sculpture of Franklin Delano Roosevelt portrayed as an older gentleman. The sitter is wearing suit and a shirt with tie. Heavy cloak is hanging around his shoulders, covering his right arm. He is looking straight, standing in a firm posture supported by walking stick in his right hand. His right leg stepping slightly forward and left hand holding onto the lapel of his jacket. Signed and dated “W. REID DICK, 1946”. This is a sketch model for the bronze statue erected in Grosvenor Square, London, and unveiled by Mrs Roosevelt in April 1948.
