Description

Close Helmet of steel; skull fluted and lined with low roped comb; pivoting bellows visor with two sight slits and six pairs of ventilation slits, fastened by spring-catch on right side, the upper and lower edges being shaped and bevelled; chin-piece of one plate pivoted at the same points as the visor with hammered front neck guard flange having sunk border stamped in front with the Nuremberg guild mark; roped and turned edge; rear neck guard of two lames with similar border and edging.
