Large fragment of a piled garden carpet, with a wide dark blue border holding a row of alternating green and red cypress trees, floral shrubs and pairs of birds. The centre field is symmetrically divided by two water channels into square compartments. The channels cross each other at a right angle to form a central hexagonal compartment dominated by a stylised floral composition. The water in the channels is illustrated by a geometric pattern in red on a cream background. Pairs of blue and of white fish swim along.
