Description

Tomb brass: John Speed (born 1542, died 1629); full-length figure facing three-quarter right with hands clasped in prayer; short wavy hair; moustache and beard; wearing long sleeved gown with cape over buttoned tunic with high collar surmounted by a pleated ruff.
