Iznik ceramic dish decorated in blue, black, turquoise-green and red on a white background with a symmetrical floral spray that grows out of a centrally placed blue and turquoise-green bush, and consists of two stems of blue hyacinths and two stems of red prunus blossoms, a stem of each either side of a vase that hovers above the centre of the base bush. The vase, which has a red base and a blue and white body, holds an equally symmetrical spray of seven red-petaled flowers, the five in the middle are clasped together with a blue band half way up their stems. The rim depicts the Chinese inspired wave-and-rock motif, in blue and black on white with touches of green.
