Description

Part of the Scots Army, in primitive equipment, drawn up in order of battle, engaged in devotion previous to the conflict. A priest, carrying aloft a crucifix, passes down the line of the kneeling warriors above whom flutter the national standards. Stirling Castle is seen in background.
